Hello everyone!
I am new to this whole robot ramble/robotics thing. I have a bit of experience when it comes to the baiscs, for example i won a gold medal at nationals in Robo-Billiards back im Middle School. So I'm not 100% novice.
I wanted some tips from you guys, are there any books/sites you guys can suggest regarding robots/circuits and such?
I'll take as much advice as i can get.
Thanks in advance!

i'll 1st ask where you live, that why i can give you store tips on buying stuff.
2nd, is ask your school about previous robots built. use parts from it.
3rd, is i reccomend hard wiring controls, just because its easier to fix. While ground level radios, as in REAL radio controls, work just fine in competition, they take a long time to calibrate to make everything work good.

I recommend you buy Vex Robotics Kit if you don't have prior experience in building a robot from scratch. They're just about as powerful as a handbuilt bot and more affordable.
