I dont blame them.. my school district has absolutly NO MONEY therefore we cant have any AC in the fall/spring or heat in the fall, no paper at all, most of the computers are crap, theres leaks in the roof throughout the building, the lockers are very old and are falling appart, and the building just looks very old. my school was embarrassed to go to practice meets in the next town over and at a school in the middle of the state because the schools were just so nice compared to ours. We were thinking of holding a practice meet next year but we might do it in one of the new elementary schools because we dont want any further embarassment

Your school should ask for money from your state's government.

Brachiopods and bivalves look sorta similar, but have different kinds of symmetry. Brachiopods have bilateral symmetry, so that their left half looks like their right half, while bivalves have symmetry between shells. If that didnt make sense, when you split open the shells, the 2 shells (top and bottom) will look the same for bivalves and different for brachiopods. This is a common question for tests.

gneissisnice - which do you think was easier to make the fossils guide or the herpetology guide? which was easier to find info on??

To be honest, i have no clue. My partner made the fossils guide. She's graduating, but I'm still trying to see if she still has the binder. Saves me time :D
Still, i think fossils may be easier, since theyre no longer alive, so you dont have to include behavior and stuff.

I'm organizing my binder similarly to what someone else here is doing.

Name: (plus explanation of most names)
Time Frame: (when they were around)
Physical Appearance: (what they looked like)
Environment: (where they lived)
Life Mode:(stuff like reproduction, diet, and others)
Discovery and Current Uses: (exactly what it says)

Right now I have around 88 pages, but I think there will be more since I want a couple things in there. However, it's hard to find information for some of them......so for example my page about Astraeospongia is almost blank.
