I dont really care where NSO is. It's the fact that a bunch of geeky and/or nerdy Science Olympians like me can gather for something like this that really touches me...

The only thing about Illinois for me personally is jetlag. I'm not complaining, because Ik how hard it must have been for all you west coast natives, not to mention Hawaii and Alaska, to come to Georgia. Just a minor inconvienice...

*Raises eyebrows* It's only a one hour time difference from PA to IL, unless I'm mistaken... Jetlag shouldn't really be an issue.

but he/she is talking about people from the west coast, cuz u go forward.

What's all this talk about zetlag? Mabey because to Greece over the summer and i have to overcome a 7hr time difference my definition of jetlag has a differnt meaning than yours. The One hour difference between NY and IL is nothing to me. I"m sure you are going to be fine. 9PM eastern would be 8PM central. Now the West coast and especially hawaii and alaska are going to have a bigger problem, but they had to deal with that this year too, so they know what it's like.

Ultimate frisbee is the most amazing sport ever, I destroy at it. How would east and west be defined?

For me, one hour can throw you off a little bit, but it doesn't really matter. It's like Daylight Savings Time, no different than that.
7 years, 14 tournaments, 35 medals, 1 amazing experience.

Oh yeah. There are far worse jetlags than a one-hour difference. (Trust me... Minnesota to the Philippines. Think going to bed at 8 in the morning.)

That would be really fun. But I don't know how good my team is- we've never really played but I don't think we are very good.

Also, if we did do east vs. west, where would we divide it??? texas is smack dab in the middle so....

East and West of the Mississippi? We could also just say everyone in the Central and Eastern timzones vs Western, Mountain, Hawaii, and Alaskan Timezones.
