well most people on scioly usually care more about SO than people that don't have an account, so it makes sense that alot of people on scioly have medaled at nationals.

Well, not everyone on here has even gone to nats. You may be surprised by how many people who haven't.
7 years, 14 tournaments, 35 medals, 1 amazing experience.

Yeah you wanna know what they should extend the ranking of the teams in states.

Instead of

First and Second make it to nationals

It should be

First,Second, and Third make it to nationals.

I also bel;ieve more people at nats would make it more interesting

plus PA needs the top 3 to go to nats otherwise it will always be the same 2 teams!!!!
it would be like a bad sitcom

see what I mean, PA has been A bad sitcom for years now with the same 2 teams going to nats every year!! but the third place is normally a tight competition

That's not uncommon. I can't think of a time my team hasn't placed top ten at States, but we've only gone to Nats once. Ten years ago.

I'd like third to go to Nats just because I might be able to go :D My HS came in third. But that would be a disaster to schedule all those teams

The last two years, PA has sent different teams to Nationals from B division... Two years ago was Sewickley and BC, this year was Sewickley and Shady Side. Besides that which - it's not a bad sitcom, and it's not like it's unfair to the teams that don't make it - the teams they get to go don't have some magic secret, they just work harder and do well at States.

OT, yes, I have. woohoo! Being on stage to receive an award at nationals is a really awesome feeling.
