I think we learned something yesterday: Most of us have the resources to be very helpful on the wiki, but a lot of people never actually get around to helping out. Does it really take an (empty) threat of taking away the Test Exchange to get you to be helpful? Prove me wrong. Don't stop uploading tests now. I want to see how many we really can get in a week.
I agree, it was a good thing to do on April Fools'...it really says something to see how strongly we (myself included) responded to the threat of one of our best resources being taken away. I freely admit that I kept procrastinating on putting up tests from Stoga (and I still have like 2.5 invitationals' worth of tests to go through) and this finally motivated me to upload them. I likely would have gotten around to it anyways, but definitely not this soon.
Although I believe that it's mostly lack of time/experience that keeps people from editing the wiki - I honestly think all the formatting is a little daunting to learn at first (and I'm still horrible at it). Following that same train of thought, I think the other main obstacle to wiki-editing is lack of time, since it takes quite a bit of time to create a quality article. Especially now, in the midst of competition season, I'd wager most people are more concerned with preparing for competitions than putting information up on the wiki.
TL;DR - Great idea, but Z, you're a complete jerk. I hope you know that.
