Yep, this was all a joke. April Fools! The Test Exchange isn't in trouble. To be honest, I never expected any tests, let alone nearly twenty, to be uploaded because of that one post. I think we learned something yesterday: Most of us have the resources to be very helpful on the wiki, but a lot of people never actually get around to helping out. Does it really take an (empty) threat of taking away the Test Exchange to get you to be helpful? Prove me wrong. Don't stop uploading tests now. I want to see how many we really can get in a week.

Also, don't be mad and take your tests down because you were tricked into doing the right thing. Instead, I strongly suggesting bragging about how you were helpful in the Test Exchange's (fake) time of need, while everyone else wasn't. Good job!

Oh, and one other thing- the Division D was an April Fools' joke as well, but I assume most of you figured that out. It's such a shame we have to wait another year before we can do something like this again. ;)

Is there a clapping emoticon? No? Aww. Well played. The admin deal had too many holes to be believable, but, somehow, this one fooled me and apparently at least a few others  ...kudos.

Oh, and now I can withdraw my earlier offer considering it's no longer necessary ;) .

I agree, it was a good thing to do on April Fools'...it really says something to see how strongly we (myself included) responded to the threat of one of our best resources being taken away. I freely admit that I kept procrastinating on putting up tests from Stoga (and I still have like 2.5 invitationals' worth of tests to go through) and this finally motivated me to upload them. I likely would have gotten around to it anyways, but definitely not this soon.

Although I believe that it's mostly lack of time/experience that keeps people from editing the wiki - I honestly think all the formatting is a little daunting to learn at first (and I'm still horrible at it). Following that same train of thought, I think the other main obstacle to wiki-editing is lack of time, since it takes quite a bit of time to create a quality article. Especially now, in the midst of competition season, I'd wager most people are more concerned with preparing for competitions than putting information up on the wiki.

TL;DR - Great idea, but Z, you're a complete jerk. I hope you know that. :P
