My main events are Food Science, Water Quality, Crime Busters, and Anatomy. I must say that all of the Republican candidates are very similar in what they stand for. The main differences are in if they could survive a General Election with Obama (who is a great campaigner). However, I think Romney seems so superficial, Gingrich has too much baggage from being Speaker of the House to survive in a General Electoin (even though he'd probably make a great president), and Ron Paul is (no offense) kind of crazy. This leaves Santorum, so I guess he's my choice! :)

My events are Microbe Mission, Meteorology, Awesome Aquifers, and Reach for the stars.

I don't really love any of the candidates, but I'm a strong democrat, so I'll say Obama. Hillary Clinton would have been better.
Nationals 2013: Meteorology 2nd! We grabbed the wrong notes... There is always an excuse. 7th in water quality, 28th in dynamic planet, 41st in helicopters. Team 32nd.
Not bad for first Nationals!

Water Quality, Technical Problem Solving, Anatomy & Physiology, and Protein Modeling. Jon Huntsman would have made a great president, especially when it comes to foreign policy. Unfortunately, he wasn't used to the lack of ethics in politics and not enough people took him seriously enough to even consider him. I guess I'll be voting for the next most intelligent and compromising: Romney.

Santorum is probably the least likely to be able to win the general election. Romney is the only one who really has a chance.

I do nine events (Anatomy, Forestry, Experimental Design, Reach For the Stars, Optics, Dynamic Planet, Meteorology, Mission Possible, and Keep the Heat) and I don't give a crap about who becomes president.

I proudly say that I support Barack Obama.

OBAMA 2012!!! :D

He is the only candidate out there that knows how to get things changed, who actually understands the American people, and who actually understands the global situation. Although he is not the perfect man, he is trustworthy, highly intelligent, and caring.

(Sorry if this sounds like wierd campaign rhetoric... I just feel strongly about him ;) )

What has he changed?
I mean, he passed the health care bill that the majority of the country disapproves of (and it looks like the individual mandate will be declared unconstitutional)
He passed the stimulus bill, promising that unemployment wouldn't go above 8% - that turned out to be a failure.
And overall he's increased the deficit more in 3 years than Bush did in 8.

Disease Detectives: 3
Microbe Mission: 21
Protein Modeling: 2

Obama, or any other President can't pass bills/make laws. He can lobby Congress, but he really can't doing anything other than order someone to be sniped, a country nuked. He can also pardon criminals. Executive Orders cannot make new laws, it can clarify or act to further a law put forth by the Congress or the Constitution.

Even though I don't agree with many of his policies, he has done a good enough job running the executive branch.

Presidents get too much of the blame and glory of Congress's decisions, put on them by uneducated people. Sadly, there are too many of them. To get these people, you gotta use slogans, banners, and logos. Can't really blame Obama for that.
