Well, for skeletal last year, we needed to identify bones and their features, and to understand the microscopic anatomy of bones. Analogously, I'd imagine that for muscular, you'll need to know major muscles/muscle groups (I hope they avoid the muscles of facial expression; those are painful to deal with), as well as understand muscular histology (actin/myosin and the rest of the sliding filament system, A/I/H/Z and all the other random letters that describe sarcomeres, and so forth). Innervation of muscles seems a bit too arcane (and nervous), so I doubt that'd show up.

I'm guessing that because the whole musculoskeletal system is the subject this year, joints will play a much more significant role than last year - maybe we'd need to know important joint systems, like the knee and the shoulder and so forth, in addition to the basic mechanics of joints that were covered last year.

And then there's the endocrine system on top of that. Ugh. I'm interested to see how questions combining endocrine and musculoskeletal concepts could be asked. What comes to mind most prominently is the effect of PTH/calcitonin/calcitriol on bone resorption/deposition.

Mind you, this is all complete hypothesis, and pertains to C div.

I'd guess so, since now they could ask not only about the basics of joints (hinge/saddle/etc.), but also what muscles act on what joints, and so forth. Just a guess.

Only rather tangentially. (Do take note that the endocrine system is a planned topic for div C but not div B)

i do know the stuff but it's summer my brain is kind of useless at this point like i still remember stuff for skeletal but i have no clue for muscular b/c i never did it before like i know some muscles and stuff
the way the ligaments are attached to the knee and so forth is really confusing and difficult b/c there are so many ligaments attached in different ways and allows different ranges of motion and so forth
my dad (who is an actual doctor) taught me some muscles last year in relation to skeletal system/joints but it was only basics and since it wasn't on any tests i did i kind of never really memorized it

SOinc.org has a page for 2010 Anatomy. That would be an exellent place to start studying.

It still has the skeletal stuff from last year, but it hasn't been updated to include information about the muscular/endocrine systems. So it won't be much of a help for now, I'd imagine.
